About college

IIM is an abbreviation for Indian institute of management. India has a total of 20 IIM institute. It’s an institute of management education and research. It primarily offers undergraduate, post graduate, doctoral, and execution program. It has achieved the most prominent position in terms of management school.

Eligibility-

·        Candidate must be Graduate from any recognized college.

·        Must have obtained atleast 50% in graduation in any discipline.

·        Student belonging to SC/ST/PWD category must have secured atleast 45% in any discipline.

·        For courses other than the flagship PGP, work experience is also a mandatory requirement. The duration of work experience varies for different courses.

·        Final year student are also applicable to apply.

Admission process-

§  The first step to get inside IIM is to appear for CAT exam. So, initiate with applying for CAT exam.

§  Then, students are shortlisted based on the scores of CAT.

§  Second stage includes inviting candidates for WAT and GDPI.

§  Final merit list is based on composite scores of different parameters

Following is the weighing parameters that are considered while making final merit list.

CAT score	Overall percentile score obtained in CAT exam.
Graduation Score	The aggregate percentage obtained in three-year degree course or equivalent.
Class 12 Score	The aggregate percentage scored in class 12 or equivalent.
Class 10 Score	The aggregate percentage scored in class 10 or equivalent.
WAT/GD-PI	Each candidate's performance in WAT/GD-PI is assessed and marks are allotted accordingly.
Academic Diversity	Candidates from non-engineering background are given extra points to ensure fair representation of students from other streams. The points for academic diversity vary for each campus.
Gender Diversity	The IIMs give extra points to female/transgender candidates to encourage fair representation of each gender. The points for Gender diversity vary for each campus.
Work Experience	Extra points (from 1-5) are given to candidates having work experience. For this, a range is defined from lowest to highest. The points for work experience vary for each campus.

 

College

·      Placement

IIM provides 100% placement to students. Top recruiting companies like Samsung, Unilever, PnG, Airtel, Vodafone, Dabur, Accenture, BCG, McKinsey, EY, Deloitte, Dabur, Pepsico, Coca Cola visit the college for the top roles such as Consulting, Sales and Marketing, Finance. The highest Package offered was Rs. 37 LPA and an average package of Rs. 16 LPA. Almost 100% students got internship.

·      Infrastructure

The infra of IIM is world class. It has every facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, auditorium with a capacity of 700 students, seminar halls, computer labs, CCTV surveillance, administration area with full supporting services, sports arena etc.
